What A Woman Indeed
by Aaron Terry
Unyielding courage, possessing a sense of perseverance without bounds;
Her unwavering spirit flourishes, despite the world's efforts to tear her down.
Time's tests have crumbled beneath her feet and praise she
should certainly receive,
For a mighty black woman is she, and oh yes what a woman indeed.
Limitless potential, capable of any task for which she strives;
Intelligence and determination spurred on by an unshakable sense of pride.
Underestimate her will and desire and sadly yourself you have surely deceived,
For a powerful black woman is she, and oh yes what a woman indeed.
Unquestionable beauty, this she does capture and exude when seen
alone or surrounded;
The serenity in her eyes and fire in her step often leave those
unprepared dumbfounded.
Uniting physical and inner beauty in a manner that must be seen to be believed,
But believe you will for a black woman is she, and oh yes what a woman indeed.
Pay homage to the queen, for I am convinced that among royalty
she rightly belongs;
Challenges are but mere bumps in the road as toward success she glides along.
Gentle, caring, and there for her friends no matter whatever it is that they need,
Oh what a remarkable black woman is she, oh yeswhat a woman indeed.
